External Thrombotic Hemorrhoid Cures
What Are Hemorrhoid Fissures? Can it Be Prevented and Cured?
Hemorrhoid fissures are abnormally large and swollen blood vessels, supporting tissues, and overlying mucus membrane or skin of the rectum area. Once you have this, you will be seeing bright red bleeding on your stool, on the toilet tissue or the toilet bowl after you take a pass. Hemorrhoid symptoms are not yet evident until you are in your 30’s, though most individuals may begin to develop hemorrhoids as early as in their 20’s. It is estimated that at least 50 percent of men every 50 years have symptomatic hemorrhoid disease and up to 1/3 of the total population of the US have hemorrhoids to some degree.
So what causes hemorrhoid fissures? This type of disease is like having varicose veins which is most likely cause by the weakness of the veins, excessive pressure on the venous, pregnancy, long periods of sitting or standing and heavy lifting are some common factors. Hemorrhoids are classified in accordance to location and degree of severity. The first category is the External Hemorrhoid. It occurs below the anorectal line, near the anal canal at which the skin lining changes to mucous membrane. The internal hemorrhoids on the other hand occur above the anorectal line. At times, an internal hemorrhoid can enlarge to such a degree that it will descend below the anal sphincter.
How will you know if you have hemorrhoid fissures? Hemorrhoid symptoms include itching of the rectum area, burning, pain, inflammation, irritation, swelling, bleeding and even seepage. Bleeding is associated with internal hemorrhoids and it will possibly occur during or after excretion. The bleeding is due to rupture of an acute thrombotic hemorrhoid.
Is there any therapy for hemorrhoid fissures? A fiber rich diet is considered a good therapy. Fibers found in vegetables, legumes and fruits promote peristalsis and fiber components attract water and it will make a gelatinous mass which will then keep the feces soft, bulky and very easy to pass. Some great therapies are: the use of bulking agents, hydrotherapy, topical therapy, and monopular direct therapy.
Now, you might be asking if hemorrhoid fissures are curable. Prevention is always considered to be better than cure. This includes the reducing of the factors that will lead you to have hemorrhoids. Maintain a high fiber diet if you think you still cannot reduce doing the factors that contribute to hemorrhoid fissures. Lessen the intake of alcohol and spicy foods, if it is possible, then try to stop. Squat position while defecating, fasting and internal cleansing therapies are highly recommended in the long run. Apply aloe vera when experiencing bleeding or itching.
